01Private label

What a private label manufacturer does

A private label manufacturer makes products to your design, and you sell them under your own brand and labels.

Private label

Your design and your brand, made for you only: a custom model, never a catalogue product.

What we do

White label

Ready-made stock that several brands relabel. We don't sell it: every piece starts from your design.

Not offered

Custom development

No tech pack yet? Our designers develop it with you from a sketch or a reference product.

From an idea

A reference product you like is enough to start: we use it for shape and construction, then develop a new pattern and prototype for your brand.

FAQQuestions

Private label manufacturer FAQ

What is private label manufacturing?

Private label manufacturing means a manufacturer makes products to your design, and you sell them under your own brand. As a private label manufacturer in Italy, we produce clothing, knitwear, bags, shoes, and leather goods as custom models: you keep control of design, materials, and branding, and we choose the workshop and run production.

Private label vs white label: what's the difference?

In white label manufacturing, one ready-made product is sold to many brands, each adding its own label. Private label products are developed for your brand only, from your tech pack, a sketch, or a reference. We work in private label only and don't sell ready-made or white label stock.

Which products can you make under private label?

Clothing and t-shirts, knitwear, bags and handbags, shoes, and small leather goods such as wallets, belts, and card holders. If you need a private label clothing manufacturer, you can add bags or shoes to the same project: each category is made in Italian workshops that specialise in it, coordinated by one project manager.

What is the minimum order for private label clothing, bags, and shoes?

Clothing, bags, handbags, and leather goods start from 30–50 pieces per style or model, knitwear from 50 pieces per model, and shoes from 40–50 pairs per style, with sizes split within the minimum. Every product is evaluated on its own; for clothing and bags you can also order a single prototype first.

How much does private label manufacturing cost in Italy?

Published starting prices per piece are from €10 for clothing (socks; t-shirts from €15), €15 for bags and handbags, €30 for leather goods, €40 for knitwear, and €70 per pair for shoes. A prototype costs about 3× the price per piece and a sample about 2×; a tech pack starts from €500 per style.

Can you add my own labels, logo, and packaging?

Yes. Clothing and knitwear take woven, printed, and care labels, hang tags, prints, or embroidery. Bags and leather goods take embossing, hot foil stamping, or metal logo plates, and leather goods also debossing. Shoes carry your logo on the sock and sole. Packaging includes dust bags, boxes, and retail or e-commerce packaging.

How long does private label production take?

It depends on the category. From brief to finished production: 5–11 weeks for bags, handbags, and leather goods, 6–10 weeks for knitwear, 6–11 weeks for shoes, and 7–13 weeks for clothing. Most delays come from changes after the sample is approved, so every comment is fixed in writing first.

Who owns the designs, patterns, and tech pack?

You do. At the end of the project, you own the design, the patterns, and the tech pack of every product we make for your brand, whatever the category. We also sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) on request. Private label means the product carries your name, not ours.

What to send for a private label quote

Send what you have: your project manager asks for the rest.
