FAQQuestions

Italian Artisan FAQ

What is Italian Artisan?

Italian Artisan is a Made in Italy production partner for brands and companies. We match each project with the right workshop in our network of 285 verified Italian manufacturers, and one project manager follows it from sample to delivery.

Is Italian Artisan a manufacturer or a marketplace?

We manage every production directly, with a dedicated project manager. We don't list factories for you to contact on your own: we choose the workshop, run sampling and production with it, check quality, and handle shipping and customs.

What can you produce in Italy?

Clothing, knitwear, bags, leather goods, shoes, and corporate gifts, from t-shirts and handbags to shoes and branded merchandise. Each product goes to an Italian workshop that specialises in it.

What is the minimum order quantity?

Our reference minimum is 30–50 pieces per style, 50 for knitwear, and 40–50 pairs for shoes. Every product is evaluated on its own, by material and construction, and larger runs lower the price per piece.

How much does it cost to produce in Italy?

It depends on the product, the materials, and the quantity. Development has a fixed price per style: a tech pack starts from €500. Production has no service fee: you pay for the products. For example, t-shirts cost €15–70 per piece. See our pricing page.

How do I start a project?

Submit your project with references or a tech pack, quantities, and a target price. Your project manager comes back within 1–3 business days with the right workshop and the next steps.
